Located on the second floor, Silks inspires the senses by combining elements of Pacific Rim cuisine with West Coast signature dishes. The ambience is quite unique, and is influenced by the journey of Marco Polo to the court of Kublai Khan.
Interior designer Cheryl Rowley has created a look that evokes the great explorer’s odyssey and the discovery of silk, through wall treatments, floor coverings and hand-painted silk
chandeliers. The Venetian adventurer’s journey to Cathay is celebrated in textures and artefacts, and in the colours themselves - cinnamon, nutmeg and persimmon.
